Mary French, LCSW-C
Mary French, LCSW-C is a health care professional with over 30 years’ experience as a nurse and a social worker. Mary French operates a private psychotherapy practice in Baltimore specializing in trauma and chronic pain. In addition to her private practice, Ms. French is a past senior faculty member and trainer at The Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy as well as the past president of Pain Connection, Chronic Pain Outreach, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping those with pain and their families. She is the recipient of the 2009 Power of Pain Foundation McDowell Pain Advocacy Award. She is a mindfulness-based stress reduction teacher, training under the direction of Jon Kabat-Zinn and a certified EMDR therapist and consultant. She is the coauthor of Making the Invisible Visible; Chronic Pain Manual for Health Care Providers.
