Hope Arnold, LCSW, MA is a supervisor and trainer in Radically Open DBT (RO DBT). She began her RO DBT training with Dr. Tom Lynch, treatment developer, in 2016. Hope continues to attend intensive trainings throughout the country and receives regular supervision from Dr. Lynch. Hope co-developed the RO DBT App through her training company Grow RO.
In her clinical work, she is the founder of Simply RO DBT, a practice dedicated to evidence-based care and treating disorder of overcontrol. She specializes in personality disorders (obsessive, compulsive, paranoid, dependent, and avoidant), eating disorders, autism spectrum disorders (special interest in female autism), and treatment-resistant disorders (depression and anxiety).
Hope completed her intensive training in standard DBT and Prolonged Exposure Therapy through Behavioral Tech. She is also trained in Jungian Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Ketamine Assisted Emotion Focus Processing Therapy. Additionally in her couples work, Hope uses Gottman Method therapy and is trained in Level 1 Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

Roelie completed her PhD in psychology in 2008 at the Erasmus University, Rotterdam (The Netherlands), and subsequently worked as a senior research fellow at the Universities of Exeter (2008-2011) and Southampton (2011-2017) in the UK. She was the trial manager for RefraMED, the multi-site randomized controlled trial investigating the efficacy and mechanisms of Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
In 2017 she decided to switch from an academic to a business career and started working full-time for Radically Open Ltd and later RO DBT Online B.V. Her passions within the company are dissemination of RO DBT both to the academic and professional worlds, and developing online contents and e-learning modules to make RO DBT more accessible to the worldwide community of clinicians wanted to learn RO DBT.
