Marla Deibler, PsyD, ABPP


Marla Deibler, PsyD, ABPP, is a licensed clinical psychologist and board-certified in behavioral and cognitive psychology. She is the CEO of The Center for Emotional Health, where she leads a team dedicated to the evidence-based treatment of anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders across the lifespan, with locations in NJ, NY, and PA, and serving those across the US via telehealth.

Dr. Deibler has over 25 years of experience specializing in the research and treatment of body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs) and is a passionate advocate for expanding access to high-quality, individualized care. She serves as faculty of the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), is a member of the board of directors of OCD New Jersey (OCDNJ), and a member of the scientific advisory committee of the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome and Associated Disorders (NJCTS). She also serves as a visiting clinical supervisor at Rutgers University, Psychological Services Clinic.

Dr. Deibler co-authored The BFRB Recovery Workbook: Effective Recovery from Hair Pulling, Skin Picking, Nail Biting, and Other Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (2023)and Free to Be Me with a BFRB: The Ultimate Kid’s Guide to Living Well with Hair Pulling, Skin Picking, Nail Biting and Other Body-Focuses Repetitive Behaviors (in press).
