Douglene Jackson, PhD, OTR/L, LMT, ATP, CYT, FAOTA is CEO/founder of GIFTS Institute, being a health, wellness, and rehabilitation professional for over 25 years. Dr. Jackson specializes in human-centered innovation for whole-human optimization, promoting well-being, health equity, and AI literacy for individuals and organizations. She has given over 100 trainings internationally, keynote addresses, and a TEDx Talk, empowering personal and professional development across the lifespan.

Dr. Jackson holds a PhD in special education in early childhood, master’s in occupational therapy, bachelor's in rehabilitation services with a concentration in counseling, diploma of massage therapy, and various professional certifications, including assistive technology, sensory integration, telehealth, AI, UI/UX design, and many others in the health and wellness industries. She has served in leadership roles at the local, national, and international level, including as a past president of the Florida Occupational Therapy Association, past secretary of the American Occupational Therapy Foundation, and current American Occupational Therapy Association’s alternate delegate to the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.
