Michelle Magida, PhD
Dr. Michelle Magida, is the founder and clinical director of Therapy, Etc., a group practice dedicated to improving social, emotional, behavioral, and academic functioning in youth and families. With over 15 years of experience spanning therapeutic day schools, district-level behavioral consultation, and private practice leadership, she integrates neurodevelopmental science, executive functioning expertise, and trauma-informed care into practical clinical application. Dr. Magida earned her Bachelor of Science in education from Illinois State University, her master’s degree in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and her Doctorate in counselor education & supervision from Adler University. She presents nationally on executive functioning, power struggles in families, Polyvagal-informed care, and youth mental health integration across systems.
