Sonia Greaven, PhD
Sonia Greaven, PhD, is a Clinical Psychologist specialized in the treatment of anxiety disorders in high-achieving individuals. Originally from Montreal, she is the owner and clinical director of Innovate Psychology, Inc., a group practice specialized in the treatment of OCD and related disorders in Calabasas, California. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
Dr. Greaven is an engaging speaker and clinical trainer committed to promoting evidence-based practices (EBPs). She presents at schools, mental health centers, and professional associations to increase awareness of scientifically validated treatment approaches. Dr. Greaven provides training and weekly online group consultation on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to support emerging clinicians in the field. She facilitates a monthly online book club for mental health professionals, @MyTherapistReads, featuring the authors of the latest books on EBPs.
Dr. Greaven has conducted research, authored and published peer-reviewed studies, and presented at regional, national, and international conferences in the areas of pediatric depressive disorders, gastroenterology, medical simulation training, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
