Deanna Speir, LPCC-S, LICDC-CS


Deanna Speir, LPCC-S, LICDC-CS, is a seasoned clinician, educator, and trainer specializing in ethics, harm reduction, and clinician development across behavioral health disciplines. With a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Bowling Green State University and extensive clinical and leadership experience, she has worked in addiction counseling, offender rehabilitation, and community mental health.

Deanna has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in psychology and counseling, focusing on ethics and professional practice. She frequently provides professional trainings and workshops for state and national audiences, including on topics ranging from ethics and supervision to diagnosis and levels of care.

Her work emphasizes bridging ethical theory with real-world application, empowering clinicians to navigate challenges with confidence and improve outcomes for their clients. Deanna has also served as an ethics consultant and hosts a therapy-based podcast exploring contemporary mental health issues.
