Daniel Segal


Dr. Daniel L. Segal is the Kraemer Family professor of aging studies and professor of psychology at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. His research interests include the assessment of psychopathology among older adults, suicide risk and resilience among older adults, and the impact of personality disorders across the lifespan. He has published over 200 journal articles and book chapters and is lead author on the Aging and Mental Health (3rd Edition; Wiley & Sons) professional book, and sole editor of Diagnostic Interviewing (4th Edition; Springer Nature). He is a Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America and of the American Psychological Association (Divisions 12 and 20).
