What to Expect From This EMDR Certification Training
This 12-month, fully online certification is led by nationally recognized EMDR trainers with extensive experience helping clinicians at every level build real competency — not just familiarity — with EMDR.
Through structured on-demand video modules, you'll move at a pace that works for your schedule while following a clear, logical progression from foundational concepts to advanced application.

The curriculum includes detailed technique breakdowns, modeled sessions, and case-based learning that prepares you to work confidently with a full range of presentations — whether you're treating a recent single-event trauma or navigating the layered complexity of chronic, relational, or developmental trauma.

An approved EMDR consultant is with you throughout — available to field your clinical questions, sharpen your technique during a dedicated full-day live practice intensive, and guide you through ongoing small-group consultation calls.

Your Steps to EMDR Certification
- Complete the on-demand training modules over 12 months
Covered in easy-to-digest modules released on a schedule, you'll only need to dedicate 1-3 hours each week to watch and learn. Post your questions for each module at the course portal. An Evergreen-approved EMDR consultant will take time every 2 weeks or so to provide answers. - Complete your LIVE mandatory practice day
Practice using your new EMDR skills with your fellow students in a virtual room under the guidance of an Evergreen Approved EMDR Consultant. You must attend and participate to qualify for certification. Your consultant will offer you practice day dates as the course progresses. - Complete 10 hours of group consultation. (Included with your tuition)
These hours are required if you plan on applying to become an Evergreen Certified EMDR Clinician (EMDR-C). Your consultant will offer you 6 dates for 2.5-hour online group consultation sessions as the course progresses. You'll need to attend four. These sessions are generally held 6 to 12 weeks after you complete the practice day.
