Description
The world of rehabilitation is not a straightforward black-and-white process. In this evidence informed session, you’ll gain clarity on the common misconception that all patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty (THA) should strictly follow the same post-operative precautions. We'll explore the nuanced, evidence-based approach to therapy, focusing on the gray areas, so that you can navigate post op progressions with confidence!
- Skillfully identify key anatomical structures relevant to THA
- Understand complex surgical concepts: internervous planes, muscle-sparing techniques, and more!
- Learn how precautions for anterior, lateral, and posterior THA impact clinical decision-making during exam and intervention
- Develop the ability to make unbiased clinical decisions for post-op weight-bearing, joint angles in daily activities, and exercise choices for ROM, muscle strength, and ADLs.
Join us to embrace the art and science of THA rehabilitation to ensure every patient's journey towards recovery is as unique as they are.
