Nicole Laurent, LMHC, is a clinician, educator, and peer-reviewed author whose work focuses on ketogenic metabolic therapy in metabolic psychiatry, with particular attention to serious mental illness and treatment-resistant presentations. Based in the Pacific Northwest, she consults internationally with clinicians, programs, and organizations on implementing ketogenic metabolic therapy in psychiatric care and on navigating common clinical and practical barriers. She participates on clinical advisory boards internationally and is recognized as an early advocate helping shape the field through clinical work, education, and research. In 2022, she was one of seven winners of the Metabolic Mind Award, presented by the Baszucki Group and the Milken Institute, recognizing pioneers advancing metabolic approaches for mental health. She is the founder of Mental Health Keto and Brain Fog Recovery Source, a nonprofit that expands access to education and support for individuals and families who face barriers to informed metabolic mental health care.
