But ACT is also about the human experience – connection, shared struggle, and the messy work of living the life you want …
… making it a perfect fit for group work.
Now you can bring the power of ACT into your groups with this intensive training.
You’ll join Renee Hoekstra, PsyD, who has 20+ experience running groups.
She’ll teach you to use the core interventions of ACT, how to adapt them for group process to manage resistance and difficult dynamics …
… PLUS share experiential exercises, metaphors, and mindfulness practices that get clients out of their heads, into the present moment, and moving toward a life built around what really matters to them.
Whether you’re working with clients who have social anxiety, chronic stress, or substance use in inpatient, agency, or private practice settings, you’ll learn:
- ACT applications to build cognitive flexibility and support a valued-driven life
