You can’t help a teen who won’t engage.

But the truth is, this often feels like the single most difficult part of your job.

That’s why we put together this all-new training with Susan Haarman, PhD, associate director at Loyola University Chicago’s Center for engaged Learning, Teaching, and Scholarship.

In just 3 hours, she’ll show you how Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop role-playing games aren’t just quirky hobbies … they’re mainstream phenomena that can be a powerful, culturally relevant therapeutic tool in your work.

And if you’ve never rolled a single die in your life – don’t worry. Dr. Haarman makes it easy.

From the “why it works” to practical steps you can use right away for working with individuals, groups and families …

You’ll get a toolkit of research backed interventions to treat social anxiety, depression, and loneliness – all by giving clients a safe, accessible space to practice social skills, communication, coping strategies, emotion regulation, and even identity exploration.

If you work with teens or young adults, this training will expand your toolkit and help you reach young clients in ways that truly resonate.
