Description
- Treat anxiety at its source – the body
- Get the latest on nervous system regulation strategies that work
- Enhance our practice with must-know somatic tools
Your client’s anxiety isn’t just “too many thoughts.”
It’s wired into their physiology, neurology, and somatic patterning that talk therapy alone can’t reach.
Real change requires working directly with the threat-response system, implicit memory, and the dysregulated nervous states that keep anxiety looping.
In this immersive 2-day anxiety certificate training, renowned somatic psychologist Dr. Abi Blakeslee distills the latest research in neuroscience, embodied emotional inference, threat physiology, and somatic healing into a practical, highly effective framework for treating anxiety at its true source.
You’ll learn powerful bottom-up methods to retrain the nervous system, update outdated internal models, and help clients reclaim safety, agency, and connection.
Discover how to assess, intervene, and transform anxiety – quickly, sustainably, and somatically.
- Why the body “remembers” anxiety and how to transform it
- How to harness anxiety as a catalyst for change
- Gain clear, client-friendly psychoeducation tools for explaining the threat response
- Spot and treat the difference between somatic and cognitive anxiety patterns
- Address perfectionism, procrastination and help clients build protective self-talk
You’ll leave with a structured, yet flexible toolkit designed to help clients not only manage anxiety – but create resilience and lasting recovery.
This training is designed for therapists who want science-backed, body based methods that accelerate healing, reduce chronic anxiety patterns, and create change that truly lasts.
