Unresolved relational conflict prevents attachment security and perpetuates a victim mindset.
But when you understand clients from an attachment science perspective, everything they do makes sense.
You can see how even the most “dysfunctional” behavior is a response that has worked in the past... But now your client is stuck in that response and doesn't know how to get different results.
When you understand your client through the lens of attachment, you deepen your awareness of who they really are... And give them the safety and security to be vulnerable and allow for change.
In this video, Dr. Terry Levy discusses the attachment life script, a powerful therapeutic tool that enables you to begin to understand your clients at the level needed for lasting change.
