Dr. Margery J. Shupe, LPCC-S, specializes in treating and assessing children and adolescents with behavior and emotional disorders. She is the owner and clinical director of New Directions, Counseling for Children, Adolescents and Families located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Shupe has over 24 years of clinical experience including work in an adolescent behavioral medicine clinic as a counseling psychologist, and a supervisor and clinical therapist of a residential/outpatient children’s/adolescent facility.

Dr. Shupe presents regionally, nationally and internationally on a broad range of topics, primarily focused on clinical treatment to children/adolescents, family counseling and assessment and diagnosis of emotional/behavioral and learning disabilities. Additionally, she has published extensively in professional journals, research manuals, and book chapters.
