MICHAEL G. PIPICH, MS, LMFT

Michael Pipich, M.S., LMFT, is a psychotherapist, lecturer and radio personality who has over 30 years of experience in mental health practice. He has taught graduate-level courses in diagnosis and psychotherapy, substance abuse and addictions and psychopharmacology. He has an extensive interest and experience in treating bipolar disorder from individual and family modalities that provide many intriguing clinical case studies. Michael has unique perspectives on how to successfully guide people from crisis through stabilization, and on to the larger journey of coping with a chronic mental illness.

 

In addition to providing clinical evaluations and psychotherapy, Michael has testified as an expert in many legal cases. He was selected as a Collaborating Investigator by the American Psychiatric Association, performing clinical field trials for the 5th edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5®). He has also been featured on radio and in print media on a variety of topics. He holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical/Community Psychology from California State University, Fullerton.
