ROGER SPARHAWK, MD

Roger Sparhawk, M.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist who has been treating patients for over 30 years in private practice, as well as in hospitals, and public clinics. He has had a special interest in bipolar disorder for the past 12 years, and he is a member of the International Society for Bipolar Disorders. His observations on the treatment of bipolar disorder have appeared as letters to the editor in a number of psychiatric journals. He serves as a staff psychiatrist at Alternative Paths in Medina, Ohio. He is also in private practice with Psychological and Behavioral Consultants in Brecksville, Ohio.

 

His new book, Calm Seas, Keys to the Successful Treatment of Bipolar Disorder, aims to alert patients, families, and clinicians to the little-known strategies actually demonstrated to get patients with bipolar disorders to long-term stable recovery.
