PESI is currently seeking to fill an opening for a Business Manager. This is a challenging and unique role that involves being a talent agent, lead negotiator, content curator, relationship builder, business developer, and copywriter and business analyst. The position is within a close working and collaborative team of professionals who have a passion for the Mental Health industry and PESI’s mission.


Summary:

The business manager is responsible for sourcing speakers, assisting in the development of content for seminars, developing a marketing strategy and work with them as they travel around the country delivering knowledge to our customers. This position is also responsible for the financial results the seminars they develop, including tracking, evaluating, and deciding which seminars would optimize available markets and profit margin.


Responsibilities

  • Develop creative; compelling and result based direct marketing campaigns
  • Work effectively and creatively with our partners to create new products and business opportunities
  • Research, evaluate, promote and implement new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing business partners
  • Write effective marketing copy
  • Test new product and marketing strategies
  • Blend marketing with strategic thinking to maximize business
  • Maintain robust knowledge of customers, markets and industry trends
  • Actively initiate and participate in project team efforts in the areas of business planning and R&D
  • Budgeting and marketing analysis
  • Meet deadlines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience in one or more areas marketing, new business development, product development or business ownership
  • Budgeting, analysis and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to take risks
  • Evening/weekend calls/emails when emergencies might arise with speakers and travel issues
  • Flexibility to be self-motivated but also excel in a team environment
  • A keen entrepreneurial drive
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with great attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving skills in a challenging and fast paced environment
  • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Some travel required, up to 15%

The CE Coordinator is part of our continuing education team and is responsible for reviewing educational content and speakers to maintain compliance with CE accreditation requirements, submitting necessary documentation for board approvals, and ensuring the appropriate credit hours are issued to participants.


What will you be doing on a daily basis?

  • Working with multiple internal stakeholders to launch continuing education courses
  • Ensuring events are in compliance with credit board standards and requirements
  • Submitting event applications for CE approval and accreditation
  • Serving as a primary contact for CE approval organizations
  • Assisting event participants to receive the appropriate credit

Summary:

The Marketing Team is currently seeking to fill an opening for a Mail Marketing Data Analyst. This position will be responsible for identifying, acquiring and building marketing lists; analyzing market data; and coordinating marketing campaigns with third party sources. This position will work directly with the Marketing & Business Management Teams to develop effective, accurate and timely marketing campaigns for PESI Events.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage direct mail plan strategies
  • Analyze direct mail campaign performance using established metrics to evaluate effectiveness and success
  • Present and recommend key takeaways for improvement of direct mail performance using cost-benefit analysis
  • Compile list data for individual marketing campaigns from various sources
  • Coordinate with outside vendors to schedule and facilitate execution of marketing campaigns
  • Update, manage and maintain list data in Marketing Databases
  • Identify and implement new testing strategies for our mailings that promotes list growth and drives revenue
  • Strategically manage and negotiate the purchases of mailing lists across multiple markets to aid in campaign success
  • Manipulate and manage mail databases utilizing Excel or other data visualization software

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-3 years related experience preferred
  • Analytic mindset with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with a great attention to detail
  • Organized self-starter who shows initiative and drive
  • Proficiency with the following software is required: Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel
  • Previous experience with BCC Mail Manager software is a strong plus +++
  • Knowledge of Geographic Information System Applications is a plus, but not required
  • Understanding of United States Postal Rules and Regulations, Data, and Variable Letter programming with any Direct Mail industry software is desired, but not required
