Overview of the Business Development Team:
The business development team is a group of strategic thinkers who create and market dynamic continuing education seminars and courses. This team focuses on identifying and evaluating topics for mental health professionals that are both relevant and exciting for therapists to attend. Additionally, this team builds relationships with expert speakers, trainers, and authors in the field of mental healthcare, assisting them in the design of seminars and online courses, developing clear marketing strategies and compelling sales copy; while collaborating with a small, close-knit team of professionals who have a passion for mental health education.

What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)
  • Identify the latest trends, techniques, approaches, topics, and voices in the field of mental health and psychotherapy that are most relevant to clinicians in the field.
  • Turn those ideas into compelling seminars, courses, and training programs that mental health professionals will find useful and want to attend
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing speakers
  • Create data-driven direct mail and digital marketing campaigns through writing compelling sales copy and determining the most pertinent target audience
  • Maintain a robust knowledge of the field of psychotherapy and the needs of mental health professionals
  • Analyze effectiveness of marketing strategies and align future campaigns with current data and trends.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively by creating goals for yourself, meeting deadlines, and communicating ideas clearly to team members.

What You Will Bring to the Team: (skills and requirements)
  • Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Licensed or license-eligible mental health professionals preferred
  • Experience in one or more areas: of marketing, sales, business development, product development, or business ownership is preferred.
  • Budgeting, analysis, and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability to respond to evening/weekend calls or email should a speaker emergency arise (travel, illness, etc.)
  • Flexibility to be both self-motivated and excel in a team environment
  • A keen entrepreneurial drive; a willingness to take risks and be creative
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with great attention to detail

  • Experience developing and writing instructional material

The continuing education program developers are responsible for identifying and evaluating opportunities to develop new CE programs for health professionals that are both relevant and excites therapists to attend, learn and grow in their profession.

Additionally, this role involves building relationships with expert speakers, trainers, and authors in the field, assisting them in the design of seminars and online courses, developing clear marketing strategies and compelling sales copy, and collaborating with a small, close-knit team of professionals who have a passion for health education. This is a team of experience business-minded professionals with whom you will grow and expand your knowledge by collaboration and innovation.

What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)

  • 5+ years’ experience as a licensed physical therapist

Overview of the Digital Technology Team:

What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)
  • Extensive knowledge and proficiency in email marketing (HubSpot preferred). Create, deploy and manage email campaigns, workflows and sequences, including template designs, top of funnel landing pages and forms, calls-to-action etc. within our HubSpot marketing automation platform.
  • Collaborate with content strategists to develop optimized marketing & automation campaign strategy.
  • Create, update and deploy email marketing campaigns, web templates, landing pages, and forms.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on digital marketing campaign activity to help drive decisions related to the customer’s journey.
  • Monitor and stay current on competitive and industry digital marketing trends, tools and resources.
  • Develop and optimize contact lists, segmentation, automation workflows, e-mail and campaign setup and deployment (not creating content or design), identify lead-scoring rules based on online behavior, internal data, profiling, and other data points to inform future strategy.
  • Manage data properties as needed with Contact, Company and Deal records in HubSpot along with developing reports, analytic dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity.
  • Maintain ongoing communications with HubSpot support as needed (Client Success Manager, Sales, and Customer Service Help Desk) for system updates and support, including but not limited to beta testing, best practices, and remain current on latest innovations/product releases.

What You Bring to the Team: (skills and requirements)
  • 3+ years’ experience as a HubSpot Administrator
  • College Degree in Marketing, Computer Science or related field and relevant sales/marketing experience.
  • Experience across the digital media landscape (including Email Marketing, PPC, Social Media, Online Media Planning, Web Development and Analytics)
  • Motivation to quickly learn new technology and be looking for innovative ways to optimize digital marketing efforts or streamline processes.
  • Ability to communicate and troubleshoot complex issues, plus how to implement workflows/solutions to prevent issues in the future
  • Strong organizational capabilities and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting time-critical deadlines
  • Self-starter who can work independently and proactively to resolve issues, take ownership of projects and processes in a fast-paced work environment

  • Create a clear strategic plan for both organic content and paid campaigns that drive audience engagement metrics and leads to positive ROI.
  • Assist in monitoring and responding to customer comments, questions and reviews.
  • Ownership of customer issues, follow problems through to resolution, including sharing learnings with internal cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with brand teams brainstorming creative social media campaigns, opportunities for new product launches, product knowledge, and product information.

Overview of the Accreditation and Program Services Team:
The accreditation and program services team solve the daily puzzle of providing the ultimate continuing education experience. Your role will be responsible for the execution of our live events, both face to face and virtual, while also ensuring our education meets the board standards of multiple professions across all 50 states and abroad. Reaching across multiple systems and product types in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, our team finds dynamic solutions and builds strong relationships to ensure delivery of world-class programs that exceed customer expectations.

What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)
  • Oversee the daily operations of CE, Travel, Webinar and Program Services departments.
  • Make key decisions regarding compliance utilizing your ability to understand the nuance of regulations and the input of organizational stakeholders.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and a high-quality output that meets accreditation requirements.
  • Provide strategic direction and support to department managers in department planning, developing and prioritizing goals, managing resources and troubleshooting issues.
  • Collaborate with leaders across the organization to facilitate workflow, meet high-level objectives and implement new business initiatives.
  • Evaluate and modify processes and procedures to maximize throughput.
  • Monitor key metrics and operational expenses and look for opportunities to reduce costs and achieve greater efficiencies.
  • Communicate updates, opportunities and threats to the executive team.

What You Will Bring to the Team: (skills and requirements)
  • 5+ years of experience in leading teams in a professional environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related business or market specific field; MBA preferred
  • Results and growth driven; Ability to make sound strategic decisions that support PESI’s overall goals
  • A proven history of building, leading, and growing high performing teams along with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Leads by example, encourages, and supports each team member
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills and positively promotes an environment that is analytics, data, and metrics driven
  • Creative thinker with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Desire and passion for training and people development, ability to motivate, inspire and build long lasting relationships at all levels
  • Energized by a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and high-growth environment.

What Would Thrill Us:

  • Knowledge of various webinar delivery platforms, i.e. Zoom
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft office products, including but not limited to: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PowerBI

Our products are designed to teach and expand clinical knowledge with straightforward and practical resources to make information easily accessible. What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)
  • Manage the production flow of numerous publications, from start to finish
  • Proofread author and editorial changes for accuracy
  • Complete many cycles of proofing changes for each product before printing
  • Communicate production status with author, editorial team, and graphic designers
  • Maintain timely production schedules
  • Coordinate book endorsements and prepare for marketing
  • Direct e-book publication
  • Archive published materials
  • Additional responsibilities and projects as assigned

What You Will Bring to the Team: (skills and requirements)
  • Bachelor’s degree in publishing, communications, English, or journalism preferred
  • Experience in publishing, writing, proofreading, editing, and project management skills a plus
  • Ability to manage high volume of materials accurately and timely in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing workflows
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
  • Proven experience with electronic editing in Microsoft Word and with Adobe PDFs
