Carrie J. Barber, DNP, APRN, CNM, OB/GYN NP is a board-certified OB/GYN nurse practitioner, and certified nurse midwife, who works in obstetrical triage, intrapartum, and postpartum management. Additionally, she serves as a medical legal consultant specializing in maternal, fetal, and neonatal birth injury, and wrongful death. Dr. Barber has over 24 years of experience in healthcare, reviewing medical records, interpreting fetal monitor tracings, implementing perinatal policies and procedures, facilitating perinatal education, and leading multidisciplinary teams. Her clinical expertise helps to support efforts with medical legal perinatal care review, risk management assessments, and perinatal education.
