How to Talk About Bodies with Boundaries in Mind
Copyright :

When discussing bodies, it's crucial to be mindful of the language we use. The words we choose can profoundly impact how others feel about themselves. This talk will guide you on how to speak to others about their bodies, whether it's a friend, family member, or other relationship. Using respectful language and setting boundaries is essential to ensure everyone feels comfortable. We'll explore if you're contributing to unhealthy norms about how we think about bodies.

Remember, our words have power, and we can use them to build each other up. This talk teaches you how to communicate conversational and physical boundaries effectively. As therapists, we can challenge and remind clients of their relationship goals. We'll show clients how to leave a session with practical tools they can use immediately. This talk teaches valuable tools to support people as they make uncomfortable changes in essential relationships.
