Donn Mixon, Esq., has practiced law in Jonesboro, Arkansas for over 37 years and is senior partner in the Mixon law firm where his area of practice is education law. He attended the University of Arkansas where he earned degrees in history and law, was editor-in-chief of the Arkansas Law Review and was recognized for his legal writing ability. Mr. Mixon has represented dozens of school districts in state and federal trial and appellate courts and administrative due process hearings. He served for 12 years on the Jonesboro School Board. He is a member of the Council of School Attorneys of the National School Boards Association and has been a frequent presenter for faculty and staff inservice, school board workshops and education law seminars. Mr. Mixon has served on numerous boards of charitable entities and donates many hours of legal services each year to civic and charitable causes.
