Too often school districts require educators to engage in new approaches to instruction, yet maintain the old models that include restricted professional roles, rigid scheduling and overwhelming paperwork. What’s needed is a way to match infrastructure and professional responsibilities to new programs. Having led the national initiative on a workload approach to caseload, Dr. Whitmire will teach you a new framework for defining professional roles and creating instructional programs that allow for a full range of services and supports while remaining consistent with federal and states mandate. Strategies, tools and success stories will be shared that give educators the flexibility to provide direct and indirect services both with and on behalf of students, and build that into documentation, professional responsibilities, and scheduling. Examples will be tied to collaboration and consultation across tiers in RTI/MTSS.

This webcast will use success stories, worksheets, templates, and action plans for practical, hands-on guidance in shaping your work and improving student outcomes.
