JEREMY ANDERSEN, LMHC

Jeremy Andersen, LMHC, is Education Director and Senior Clinician at Windhorse Integrative Mental Health in Northampton, Massachusetts.  At Windhorse, Jeremy works with people recovering from intensely life-disrupting psychological experiences and their loved ones.  As Education Director, he develops and offers trainings informed by contemplative psychology, polyvagal theory, mindfulness, and sustainable compassion practices.



Before joining Windhorse, Jeremy worked as a psychotherapist in urban and rural community mental health clinics.  He has also done milieu work with children experiencing emotional distress as well as children and adults with developmental disabilities.  He has been practicing meditation since 1997 and giving meditation instruction since 2006.



Jeremy has an MA in Integral Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies, and a CAGS from Union Institute and University.  He has been exploring and working with Polyvagal Theory since Deb Dana visited and presented to the Windhorse staff in 2017.  Jeremy then completed the Rhythm of Regulation training with Deb in Northampton in 2019.  He began as a Rhythm of Regulation course consultant in April of 20121 and has been a Rhythm of Regulation trainer since November of that year.
