DIANNE NICHOLAS, LMFT

Dianne Nicholas, LMFT, is a licensed marriage family therapist, Certified Theraplay Therapist and Supervisor.  She has travelled internationally and nationally to train.  Dianne has worked with children and families in the child-welfare system and specializes in attachment focused treatment of childhood trauma and abuse.  Dianne has completed intensive training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) with Daniel Hughes, Ph.D.  She has also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT.  She has held the position of clinical director and supervisor at a non-profit agency and has also consulted to Children & Family Services of Ventura County, with the objective of promoting trauma-informed best practice within the agency.  Dianne has a private practice in Ventura, CA.
