Lauren Brukner, MS, OTR/L, is an expert and author on sensory integration and self-regulation strategies for children and young people, and their implementation in home, school, and community settings. She is a senior occupational therapist and evaluator in the NYC Department of Education. She provides services and workshops to a broad range of school staff, including general and special education teachers, speech language therapists, counselors and paraprofessionals.
Lauren is a published author with Jessica Kinglsey Publishers, The Kids’ Guide to Staying Awesome and In Control (July 2014), How to Be a Superhero Called Self-Control (November 2015) and Stay Cool and in Control with the Keep-Calm Guru (September 2016).
