Jodi Sindlinger, PhD, NCC, is a Nationally Certified Counselor, a professional School Counselor, and an expert in counselor education and supervision. She has over 20 years of clinical experience assessing and treating individuals with high-functioning autism, depression, behavioral disorders and anxiety disorders in hospital, outpatient, home and school settings. Dr. Sindlinger’s clinical work includes providing individual, family and group therapy. She has trained thousands of counselors, psychologists, other mental health professionals, parents, teachers and administrators to successfully implement behavioral modification strategies that support students with special needs.
Dr. Sindlinger presents at the local, state, national and international level on the topics of school and home-based intervention strategies for youth, multi-cultural identity development, and innovative techniques and strategies for the training and supervision of counselors and mental health professionals. She continually consults with school and community-based agencies working with children, adolescents, adults and their families.
Dr. Sindlinger teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in human development, assessment, career counseling, group counseling, and social and cultural diversity. She received her Ph.D. in Counselor Education at Duquesne University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Sindlinger is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision.
