KAREN TYLER, JD

Karen Tyler, Esquire, a partner at Dunkiel Saunders Elliott Raubvogel & Hand, PLLC, in Burlington, is an experienced litigator focused on civil and regulatory matters. In her diverse practice, Karen works with clients in the areas of health care, municipal, business, and nonprofit law.

 

Whether advising municipalities or health care providers delivering essential services to the community, Ms. Tyler has a proven record of helping clients navigate complex permitting and regulatory compliance issues. She advises clients regarding regulatory compliance, e.g. Stark, Anti-Kickback, and HIPAA. Ms. Tyler also represents physicians, and other health care professionals in disciplinary and licensing matters.

 

She earned her BA at Cornell University and her JD at the University of Washington School of Law, Honors Graduate, Order of the Coif. Before joining the firm in 2006, Karen practiced litigation, health care, and civil rights law at a firm in Seattle, where, among other clients, she represented the University of Washington. She is a member of the Vermont Bar Association, Subcommittee for Revision of Nonprofit Corporation Act and a Board Member of the Vermont Bar Foundation.
