MARK R WHITMORE, JD

Mark R. Whitmore, Esq., is a shareholder at Bassford Remele in Minneapolis. He joined the firm 25 years ago after graduating from Macalester College and the University of Iowa College of Law. He regularly represents hospitals, physicians and health systems on a wide variety of health care and medical related matters. Those matters include defending medical malpractice cases, representing health care licensees in front of the various health care licensing boards and on risk management matters including compliance with the Minnesota Commitment Act.

He has been selected as a “Super Lawyer” by Minnesota Law & Politics/Super Lawyers, Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine, and Twin Cities Business every year since 2003. That designation is reserved for the top 5 percent of Minnesota lawyers as selected by their peers. In addition to his practice, Mr. Whitmore also served as Bassford Remele’s Chief Operating Office/Managing Partner from 2008 until 2015.
