HELEN MESOLORAS, JD

Helen Mesoloras, JD, concentrates her practice in elder law, with a focus on long term care planning, guardianships, probate and trust administrations, and estate planning at Dutton Casey & Mesoloras, PC. She represents clients in routine guardianship and probate matters, as well as more complex Medicaid and special needs planning cases. Helen enjoys working with clients and their families to develop and implement plans to achieve their goals, and guides her clients in every step of the plan.

 

Attorney Mesoloras joined the firm in 2012, bringing with her 10 years of experience in the area of Elder Law. From 2005 through 2007, she served as vice-chair and then chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s Elder Law Committee. Helen is president of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Illinois Chapter. 

 

Ms. Mesoloras earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul University and her Bachelor of Arts, with honors, in Public Policy from DePaul University. She is a member of the Chicago and Illinois Bar Associations and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She has written numerous articles on elder law topics for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education.
