MELISSA GRIFFIN, BSN, RN

Melissa Griffin has been a nurse for over 17 years and spent a majority of her career focused on quality tele-health delivery. She's performed direct phone triage for over 10 years in various settings and taught several classes on the subject. She has developed several tools to evaluate and monitor quality in the triage process and has been a resource to over thirty RNs as coach and mentor.

Melissa recently launched a 24-hour nurse advice line at Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin, where she is currently the Contact Center Manager. She enjoys leading a team of RNs in providing quality telephone triage and managing the operations of a call center that receives close to 10,000 calls per month. Melissa has honed her skills in the art of phone triage and grown in her passion for educating others in gaining expertise.

A graduate of San Francisco State University, Melissa is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and The American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing, where she participates in the Tele-health Special Interest Group.
