GOLLAPUDI SHANKAR, MS, PHARM.D., PH.C., BCP

Gollapudi Shankar, MS, Pharm D., Ph.C., BCP is an associate professor of pharmacy practice-clinical psychopharmacology and director of psychiatric pharmacotherapy residency program at Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, California. He also works as a psychopharmacology consultant with Inland Regional Center, California. He received his PharmD from Creighton University of Nebraska and also holds an MS in Public Health from the University of Northern Colorado and a recent masters degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis on substance abuse. He is board certified in psychiatric pharmacotherapy and certified pharmacist clinician by the New Mexico Board of Pharmacy. Before coming to Western University, he worked several years as a treatment review consultant and clinical pharmacist with the California Department of Mental Health, and was also a member of the statewide psychopharmacology advisory committee during that period. Dr. Shankar is a sought-after international speaker, most recently educating in China and India.
