AMY AYERS, RDH, BS

Amy Ayers, RDH, BS, graduated Dental Hygiene school in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science from Western Kentucky University. She spent 8 years in private practice, focusing on total body health in general practice settings. When the opportunity presented to make the transition to education, Amy jumped at the chance to instill a love of dental hygiene in young people. She enjoyed a rewarding 6-year career, and the trust-based relationships made with her students are her favorite part of the experience. Most recently, she joined Modern Practice Solutions and focuses on continuing education for dental professions. Despite her busy schedule consulting and lecturing, she enjoys volunteering with different associations in Middle Tennessee and is a member of a number of professional organizations.
