D.J. Moran, Ph.D., BCBA-D started his ACT training in 1994, co-authored the first case conceptualization manual for Acceptance and Commitment Therapy entitled ACT in Practice (New Harbinger), and currently serves on the ACT Training committee. He is a recognized ACT Trainer by the Association for Contextual Behavioral Sciences and was elected to that organization's Board of Directors. He was the co-chair of the ACT Summer Institute in 2008 and has been an invited speaker for the Veterans Administration, military hospitals, and international science conventions. He has been featured on Fox News for the treatment of anxiety disorders, and has published articles and book chapters on clinical behavior analysis, including one with Albert Ellis. He has trained clinicians around the U.S. and in several countries.
