Required duties - Please read carefully          
As a facilitator, your registration tuition is reduced to $299.00. Facilitators who are insurance professionals cannot receive continuing education credits. Other professions will qualify for the same continuing education credits as a regular attendee. Lodging arrangements are on your own and at your discretion.

Qualifications for Facilitators:
Level 1 and/or Level 2 EMDR practitioners preferred; however, with some additional instruction, experienced trauma therapists familiar with the theory and practical application of EMDR will also be considered. All facilitators should be experienced trauma therapists familiar with the concept and practical application of EMDR for resourcing clients and reprocessing traumatic memories.

Facilitator Role Description:
Facilitators are expected to attend both days of the workshop. You will not be called upon to do anything on day one except participate in the seminar. At the close of day one, you will be given specific instructions in regards to your duties for the second day, including two additional reading assignments.

On day two, after the EMDR session demonstration, the group will be divided into triads for the experiential segment of workshop. At that time, those serving as facilitators will be assigned 4-5 triads to supervise, i.e. physically walking from triad to triad assuring participants' safety by making sure that directions are being carried out and that the script is being followed. Your primary role is to alert the presenter to any difficulties that triads may be experiencing. The presenter assumes ultimate responsibility for safety of group and each participant.
