ACCREDITATION INFORMATION

PESI is accredited as a provider of continuing education by numerous national accrediting agencies and routinely applies for continuing education credits for professionals from state agencies on an as needed basis, when required. As part of PESI's mission to promote and facilitate continuing education excellence, we are continually in the process of seeking approval as providers of continuing education through new national accrediting agencies for professionals. Listed below are the provider accreditations we hold. For type and number of credits offered on a specific event, please select the event from our online seminar schedule and view the brochure.


Nurses/Nurse Practitioners/Clinical Nurse Specialists: PESI, LLC is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

California Nurses: PESI, LLC is a provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 6538.

Iowa Nurses: PESI, LLC is an approved provider by the Iowa Board of Nursing. Provider #: 346.

Physicians: PESI, LLC is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Radiology Technologists: Our programs, when applicable, are reviewed and approved for Category A CE credit by the ASRT.

Dentists: PESI, LLC is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing dental education programs of this program provider are accepted by AGD for Fellowship/Mastership and membership maintenance credit. Approval does not imply acceptance by a state or provincial board of dentistry. The current term of approval extends from 12/1/2006 to 11/30/2010.

Counselors: PESI, LLC is recognized by the National Board for Certified Counselors to offer continuing education for National Certified Counselors. Provider #: 5896. We adhere to NBCC Continuing Education Guidelines.

Addiction Counselors: PESI, LLC is a Provider approved by NAADAC Approved Education Provider Program. Provider #: 366.

California Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Counselors: PESI. LLC is an approved provider with the California Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors. Provider #: OS-03-036-1007.

New Mexico Counselors: PESI, LLC is an approved provider by the New Mexico Counseling and Therapy Practice Board. Provider Number: 0080851. Expires: 04/30/2007.

Social Workers: PESI, LLC, 1030, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), (1-800-225-6880) through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. PESI, LLC maintains responsibility for the program. Licensed Social Workers should contact their individual state boards to review continuing education requirements for licensure renewal.

California Social Workers: PESI, LLC is an approved provider with the State of California, Board of Behavioral Sciences. Provider
approval #: 1745.

Florida Social Workers: PESI, LLC is an approved provider with the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling. Provider Number BAP #609-Exp. 3/31/2007.

Illinois Social Workers: LLC is an approved provider with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. Provider #: 159-000724.

Psychologists: PESI, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.

Registered Dietitians & Dietetic Technicians: Registered Dietitians & Dietetic Technicians: PESI, LLC, PE001, is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited Provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) from June 1, 2006 through May 31, 2009. Continuing Professional Education Provider Accreditation does not constitute endorsement by CDR of a provider, program, or materials. Registered Dietitians & Dietetic Technicians: PESI, LLC, PE001, is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited Provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) from June 1, 2006 through May 31, 2009. Pharmacists: PESI, LLC is accredited by the American Council for Pharmacy Education as a Provider of continuing pharmaceutical education.

Physician Assistants: Our programs, when applicable, have been reviewed and approved for clinical Category I (preapproved) CME credit by the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Case Managers: Our programs, when applicable, have been reviewed and awarded clock hours by the Commission for Case Manager Certification.

Nursing Home Administrators: Our programs, when applicable, have been reviewed and approved by the National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) of the National Association of Boards of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators (NAB).

EMS Personnel: Our programs, when applicable, are reviewed and approved by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS).

Respiratory Care Practitioners: Our programs, when applicable, are reviewed and approved by Continuing Respiratory Care Education (CRCE) system of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).

Athletic Trainers: PESI, LLC is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education for certified athletic trainers. Provider #: P3386.

Physical Therapists & Physical Therapist Assistants:

Illinois Physical Therapists & Physical Therapist Assistants: PESI, LLC is an approved provider with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation, Provider Number: 216-000071.

Occupational Therapists & Occupational Therapy Assistants: PESI, LLC is an AOTA Approved Provider of continuing education. Provider #: 6005. AOTA does not endorse specific course content, products, or clinical procedures.

Play Therapists: PESI, LLC is an Approved Provider with the Association For Play Therapy. APT Approved Provider #: 05-165.

Marriage & Family Therapists:
